Observational documentary series set in the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Six-year-old Matthew Curley was born with a cleft lip and palate. Despite having already had numerous operations, he still struggles to speak clearly, but now he faces an operation which could transform his speech forever. In the hospital's A&E department, Professor Simon Carley is dealing with five-year-old Maisy, who has the back of an earring embedded in her ear lobe, and four-year-old Nadeem, who has a small green object stuck in his ear. Narrated by Lorraine Kelly.
