Tool Academy is Borstal for bad boyfriends, and in this competitive reality show 12 unsuspecting partners are sent to relationship boot camp.
Initially, the boys believe they are competing for the title of Britain's Ultimate Lad; enjoying an endless jolly filled with ladies, leisure and lager. But they soon discover that - thanks to their girlfriends who have secretly enrolled them - they are actually in for an intense course of couples' therapy, trust exercises and group sharing.
At the end, only one Tool can graduate, taking home £25,000 and the greatest prize of all: the love of a good woman. With Rick Edwards leading the physical competitions and Dr Sandra Scott pushing lessons in the classroom such as commitment and fidelity, no Tool will leave the Academy unchanged.
