They eventually put together an auction that attracts nearly a hundred bidders, a sale that keeps the Savos from bankruptcy for another few weeks. The Savos land an unexpected gig when a local scuba shop goes out of business. It is a sobering reminder of what can happen when a small company has cash flow problems. The Savos put together a successful liquidation sale that preservers more than $5,000 of the owners original investment.
